Trade in your old gold for new Dulong jewelry
If you have old jewelry at home that you no longer use, you can now exchange it for the Dulong piece you have been dreaming of.
Dulong’s gold jewelry is always 18K. However, if you have jewelry made of 8K, 14K gold, or white gold, we also accept it. Once you hand in your gold, it will be sent to our goldsmiths, who will weigh and convert it into a value that you can use to purchase Dulong jewelry. This means you won’t be able to buy a new piece the same day, but we will contact you as soon as possible after evaluating your gold.
We offer 650 DKK per gram of 18K gold.
Note! Your old gold cannot be exchanged for cash. This is a special, limited-time offer valid until May 31, 2025. The offer can only be redeemed in Dulong’s two stores.
FAQ
Can I trade in gold of a different carat than 18K?
Yes, absolutely. Dulong exclusively crafts gold jewelry in 18K, which contains more fine gold than, for example, 14K gold. If you bring in gold of a different carat, it will simply be converted to its equivalent in 18K gold.
Can I bring in my gold and make a purchase immediately?
No, unfortunately not. Our goldsmiths must first test the purity of your jewelry to determine the exact amount of 18K gold grams you have. It typically takes 1-2 weeks from the time you hand in your gold until the final value is available in the store.
Can I receive cash if I trade in my gold?
No, this offer is only valid if you wish to use your gold to purchase a beautiful Dulong piece in-store.
If my jewelry has stones, will I get them back when I trade in my gold?
Yes, you can have your stones returned if you choose to use the gold for a purchase in-store. A small fee will be charged for the removal of the stones you wish to keep.
What if I don’t know the carat of my gold?
No problem. All gold handed in is sent to our goldsmiths, who will test its purity.
Do you accept gold teeth or watches?
Yes, you are welcome to bring them in. Our goldsmiths will assess them, and we will inform you if they can be used as payment.
Do you accept silver?
No, unfortunately, we do not accept silver.
